Kulkue – Procession

Empty office space with people running. From the center of the space, the stairs lead to the lower floor. There is a yellowish light in the space that reflects from behind it.

The Kulkue project features three performance art festivals based in Finland: ANTI – Contemporary Art Festival (Kuopio), Hangö Teaterträff (Hanko) and Baltic Circle (Helsinki). Together, they are producing a series of Finnish co-productions, along with related tours and discursive programme.

2022–2024 will see 7 new performance art pieces, premiering one of the three festivals and then touring on two other festivals of the collaboration, always creating a new relationship with the changing environment and its community.

The selected artists and working groups are:

Tea Andreoletti

4 FLOORS OF WHORES (Emilia Jansson, Riku-Pekka Kellokoski, Herman Nyby & Astrid Stenberg) collaborating with the director Lara Magdalena Tacke.

Cross-art Collective Piste’s Työmaa working group (Riikka Vuorenmaa, Maarit Utriainen, Sebastian López-Lehto & Laura Rekilä)
