Acceptance of terms

When a customer buys tickets or merchandise from https://www.balticcircle.fi/en/shop/, the customer accepts the following terms. 

Buying tickets from the online store

It is possible to buy tickets from the online store until the beginning of the door sales for the specific performance, unless otherwise stated in the performance’s information.

Validity of tickets

Tickets are only valid for the selected performance. The tickets expire after the performance starts. Tickets are personal.

Customer’s responsibility for successful purchase

The customer is responsible for completing the online transaction to ensure a successful purchase. If the transaction is left unfinished, the purchase will not be made. After a successful purchase a customer will always receive an email confirmation to the address provided by the customer. Upon noticing a failed payment, the customer must contact the organizer by email at . Baltic Circle ry does not guarantee that the desired tickets or other products will still be available after failed purchase.

Ticket delivery

Tickets purchased from Baltic Circle ry’s online store are delivered to the customer via email in pdf format to the email provided by the customer. In some cases, emails may end up in a spam folder. It’s good to check the folder first if you can’t find the purchased tickets. In case of any problems, the customer should be in contact with Baltic Circle ry via email at .

Ticket cancellation and refund

Baltic Circle ry does not cancel, return or refund tickets purchased online. 

Changing a ticket

It is possible for the customer to change their ticket for another performance of the current festival year’s program while still paying the possible difference in the price of the tickets. When switching to a cheaper ticket, Baltic Circle ry is not obliged to refund the difference in ticket prices. The change must be requested in writing by e-mail to well in advance before the start of the performance to which the ticket was originally purchased for. The exchange of tickets takes effect only with confirmation from the organizer.

Baltic Circle ry’s right to cancel tickets

The organizer has the right to cancel the customer’s ticket due to force majeure. A force majeure may be e.g. a fire or water damage due to natural conditions, an order made on the basis of the Communicable Diseases Act, or another risk to life or health identified by the organizer. In the event of a cancellation by Baltic Circle ry, the customer has the right to receive the full payment of the ticket back. The organizer has also the right to cancel a ticket reservation, if the payment terms related to the reservation have not been complied with or the services have not been paid on time. In this case, the organizer can also release the ticket back on sale. 

The purchase and delivery of merchandise

The customer can choose to pick up the purchased goods against a receipt at the Baltic Circle ry’s office at Töölönkatu 11 A, 00100 Helsinki. In this case, the customer is asked to contact Baltic Circle ry by email so that the office can secure an employee to check the receipt and hand over the order. The product can also be delivered by post, in which case the customer pays the postage costs of the product themself.

Canceling a merchandise purchase

If you want to cancel a product purchase in the online story, contact Baltic Circle ry immediately by emailing us at . We will respond to your message as soon as possible and acknowledge the cancellation. Cancellation does not take place without a confirmation.

Returning merchandise

Products bought from the online store have a 14-day return policy which starts from receiving the goods. The policy only applies to unused, resaleable products (e.g. products that have gotten dirty or broken by the customer’s use cannot be returned). The return must be notified to Baltic Circle ry in writing by email to . The payment is returned to the customer when Baltic Circle ry receives the returned product. The customer is responsible for the delivery and/or mailing costs of the returned product.

Exchange of merchandise

Matters related to exchanging products are always considered on a case-by-case basis (e.g. if the purchased product is the wrong size). Exchange inquiries should be made by email to . If the customer wants to exchange the purchased product for another size, Baltic Circle ry does not guarantee that the desired size is still available.

Applicable law and settlement of disputes

The contracting parties strive to resolve disputes arising from the contract through mutual negotiations. If an agreement can not be reached during the negotiations, the customer can take the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board. Finnish law applies to the contract between the customer and Baltic Circle ry.


These terms of delivery enter into force on September 28, 2023 and are valid until further notice. The customer accepts the terms of delivery when buying tickets and products from the service.

Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.
