Wetlands, rivers, ejaculation and protoplasm – fluids are flowing in this year’s Baltic Circle programme
The 18th edition of the international theatre festival Baltic Circle will be organised in Helsinki and Väätäiskylä, central Finland between 19 and 27 November 2021. The programme includes four premieres, Finnish and international guest performances, as well as a field trip to the rewilding site Oravasuo.
We started a fan club!
Lately, we’ve been thinking a lot about togetherness and community; the power that resides in them, and the magic and excitement that happens when people get together. We’ve thought about fan clubs - those that were advertised in comic books in the 90s - and writing letters, and pen-pals, and the sincere joy of sharing something you like with someone you like.
Hanna Parry awarded Client of the Year at the Vuoden Huiput competition
Baltic Circle festival’s Artistic Director Hanna Parry has been awarded Client of the Year (Asiakashuippu) at the Vuoden Huiput 2020 creative design competition. The award is given annually to a person for commissioning good marketing and design.
Asta Teräväinen Appointed Managing Director of Baltic Circle International Theatre Festival
The board of Q-teatteri has appointed Asta Teräväinen as Managing Director of Baltic Circle Festival. Most recently she worked as Communications Designer at EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art.

Follow-up VeiculoSUR residence at distance
