We feel a longing for the non-verbal and the corporeal, a boredom of the instrumental, and a need to grasp for soil instead of theory. This work is based on earth matter, on soil. At its heart are different elements such as: bodies, soil, light and sound. The performance encircles the audience; it is an event to be experienced and to be inside of.

Samuli Laine works as a light, spatial and video designer, and at times as a performer in contemporary dance and theatre productions. He has also created the short film (o), which has been screened both in Finland and abroad. Laine is a member of the multidisciplinary art collective W A U H A U S.

Mitja Nylund is a Helsinki-based sound designer and music producer. He graduated from the University of the Arts Helsinki in 2017 and has studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku. Nylund has also worked in Copenhagen and Taiwan.

Olga Palo is an artist working on feminist questions in literary and stage contexts. Palo is a member of the Feminist Secret Society of Helsinki, contributing to the collective’s work both on stage and behind it. Palo has also actively sought feminist practices by writing, organising events and teaching. Currently Palo is interested in rest, utopianism and aesthetics of resistance.
